I barely survived as a caregiver to my (once-adoring) "challenging" elderly father and sweet mother, both with undiagnosed Alzheimer's. If I only knew then what I know now, I could have been spared so much time, pain, money, tears and tissue. Once I finally figured everything out medically, behaviorally, socially, legally, financially and emotionally, I felt driven to write a book to help others going through similar experiences.
